Dr. Sarada Prasad Parida

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sarada Prasad Parida is currently working as a Asst. Prof. in mechanical engineering. He is an academician and researcher in mechanical and structural engineering with 15 years of teaching experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from VSSUT, Burla. His research interests include composite structures, vibration analysis, structural dynamics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), crack modelling and detection, bio-medical implants, and machine design. His work focuses on applying advanced engineering analysis to improve structural reliability and performance. Dr. Parida received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Innovative Product Design and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems held at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, on 17–18 May 2019.
  • Successfully completed the NPTEL 8 week course “ADVANCED MACHINING PROCESSES” in aug-oct 2024
  • One week FDP on “AI/MI tools for advanced materials, manufacturing and thermal systems” at LRBR college of engineering.
  • Eight week FDP on “ADVANCED MACHINING PROCESSES” by NPTEL.
  • One week ATAL FDP program on “Empowerment of robotics, AI/ML and additive manufacturing in industry 4.0”

  • Successfully completed pre-conference workshop entitled “Advanced Materials for Defence Application” as a part of the 1st International Conference on Advanced Materials for Sustainable Future (ICAMSF), 2025, which was held on 7th November 2024 at the Chitkara University, Punjab, India.
